Memorial Weekend

Saturday I had the chance to babysit Kensington ( she is the younger one) over night. So we had her from 1PM Saturday tell 4:30ish Sunday. It was so much fun! I now know that I want a baby so BAD, but I am still nervous about the everyday ins and outs of having my own. Mom and Doreen are really not that much help, and I am not really saying that to be mean but after having Kensington for that much time it gave me a real look as to how much they are able to help.

So now I will tell you what we did and had a blast. We stayed home and played all day Saturday. Then Sunday we got up went to Stockton to Super Wal Mart. Along the way we stopped and ate breakfast. Kensington is a really good eater, so that was pleasant. She was such a good girl in Wal Mart never got fussy just sat in the cart and watched everything that was going on. She was really good in the car on the way there and on the way home, slept a little but not alot. Came home ate some lunch then mom came and got here because she was missing her!

I know that it is going to be hard at first tell I get use to having a child with me every minute of every day, but I am so looking forward to the day that I can bring home a child and call it my own! I also know that I have a lot of support from family and friends that will also be there to help.

Then today (Monday) I kinda just chilled at home. Did laundry and cleaned up the pantry and stuff like that got my lunches together. It was a nice day but I probably would have gotten more rest with Kensington here and or if I was at work!

Weekend with kids:)

Ok so most of you that know me know that I am not a late night person. My weekend was very long but fun. To start things off Thurs and Friday of last week it was in the 100 plus which is very unusual for this area and time of the year. Friday after working both jobs, me and Shannon go through her garage to sort some stuff out because we were going to have a garage sale, which we did not but at any case we sweat like pigs for at least 2 hours cleaning. Then had to be at my house at 6PM to set up for our Pampered Chef party, which was fun. Then me and Shannon decided to go out to dinner after the party because we were starving 9:30PM. We go to Outback and have a drink, yes I had a drink! we got home about 11:30 PM and I went to bed.

Got up about 8AM went out to breakfast with my mom and sis, and did a little garage saling and went to the store. Then we went over to Kevin and Shannon's house about 4:00ish and had dinner and played Mexican Train tell midnight. Got home and went to bed about 1:00AMish.

Got up at about 8AM on Sunday went to Target because they had something in there ad that I wanted. Went home watched somet TV got my lunch stuff ready for the week. Somewhere around 4:30ish we said we would watch Kensi, since Kevin and Shannon had a softball game, and then wanted to go out to dinner. So we had Kensi tell about 9:30PM.

Over all my weekend was awesome and I had the kids most of the weekend and yes I still do want my own very much:))

Just thought I would catch everyone up as to what has been going on with me. The house is coming along good should start framing this week as it comes I will try and post some pictures.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

I was getting out of a very bad relationship that I did not really want to end, but now am glad ended. And trying to find myself again. Worked 2 jobs and was trying to survive on my own, did not have alot of friends but the friends I had were really good and helped alot.

I would give some money to my mom for the addition of her house, and make some other adjustments to the house. Buy myself a new car. Give some to my 2 dear friends that need it, and if they would not take it I would make sure that there kids got it somehow! I would take my sister on the best trip to Disneyland ever!

Surprise Party

Ok so my best friend Beth came out to go to a Bon Jovi concert with me. Little did I know that her and my sister were in on throwing me a surprise party after my birthday! It was fun but I have to admit I thought something was up, since Doreen made me clean the house and then the minute Beth got there we left!

Ok so we have the party and it was alot of fun because there were all my good friends in one place and everyone finaly got to meet Beth, specially since most of them know alot about her and have seen pictures of her and her kids, for years as someone at the party said whether they wanted to or not they heard about them and looked at the pictures.

Well then on to the next event of the 5 day stay of Beth. My grandmother passed away on Tuesday morning. Which was also the day of the Bon Jovi concert. We all knew that it was going to be soon that we would say goodbye to grandma but I wish she could have hung on for a couple more days. I am sure that it really made Beth uncomfortable, but it was ok everything worked out! At least I had said something to Beth when she got here becuase we were pretty sure that it was going to be sooner than later because she had stopped eating, drinking.

The show was awesome, I think I will have to go purchase Daughtry's CD, he was fabulous I had never really heard him before, but he sounds like Jon.

Then it was time to say goodbye to Beth the next day:( I am happy she came and I had a wonderful time. I know she missed her kids and hubby, but I hope that she will come again and maybe even bring one of the boys along! Thanks for everything Beth!

So that is what has happened with me in the last week it has been fun sad and hard, but at the same time a huge weight has been lifted off all of us, and now grandma is with her family and dad, and I am sure they are having a great old time!

My Mid-life Crisis!

Ok so here is my mid-life crisis! I went and had my hair dyed last night it is mostly magenta, but has some brown still in it! It looks kinda organy red in this picture but it is BRIGHT! Also for you that think my glasses are missing, you are correct I am now also wearing contacts!

Well I leave today to go to Reno for 2 days and then I will be back and counting down the days tell my best friend and I go see Bon Jovi. I am so excited.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I will try and post some pictures of this weekend early in the week, but Tuesday is my birthday and I have no idea what anybody has planned:)

St Patrick's Day

Well I am really sore today! I walked in the St Patrick's Day fun walk yesterday. It was a 3 1/2 mile walk but when you add on how far you had to park from the end and start I would say it is at least 4 miles. It was a nice day and it was a little hard since I did not train for it but I was proud of myself since I did it in 1 hour and 4 min and that is 20 min less than I did it last year.

Well we are leaving Wednesday night to go to Reno for my birthday. We will be gone from Wed night tell sometime Saturday. Then Tuesday is actually my birthday. I am going to be 35 and boy do I feel it.

I am very excited about my best friend Beth coming in 23 days from today. I am not really sure what we are going to do but I am sure we will have fun. I think we may go to Fairfield one day and go to the outlets.

Well I will let everyone know how our trip went when we get home, maybe even post a few pictures.
